Bruno Mars & David Guetta – Versace on The Floor
Bruno Mars’ love-making single “Versace on the Floor” has received a smooth, funky remake from David Guetta.
The French DJ/producer premiered the remix at his Ushuaïa Ibiza
performance on Monday (June 26) in front of thousands of people,
mentioning “it’s a little different from what I usually play here, it’s a
little softer.” Guetta‘s rendition adds warm bass tones, retro synths
and vocoded liners to the romantic production, gently bumping up the
original record by a few notches.
Bruno Mars’ “Versace on the Floor”—which, it’s important to remember,
contains several of the horniest lyrics on his latest album 24K
Magic—just got a remix from mega-DJ David Guetta, officially titled
“Bruno Mars vs. David Guetta ‘Versace on the Floor.‘” Guetta’s version
shifts the original ’90s-inspired slow jam into a more ’70s-influenced
funk, a style already plenty familiar to Bruno Mars fans. Listen below,
